exploring the heart of GOD for Haiti

building partnerships for mutual transformation

vision

Through the Haiti In Our Hearts project, we hope to explore and experience the heart of God for Haiti. While the Hatians have faced countless struggles, we are inspired by their perseverance and their spirit to overcome. We have met Haitian leaders who are providing hope and reinventing the future for their country.

This summer a group associated with the Vineyard Metrowest Christian Fellowship of Framingham, MA will go to Haiti to help build an orphanage, assist with the Haitian Goat Project, work with the children, and serve in a local church. We look forward to beginning friendships that will last a lifetime and lead to mutual transformation.

orphanage

When we arrive in Haiti in July, we will work to complete an orphanage that is currently under construction. This orphanage is associated with La Mission, Inc, a 501c3 organization that is focused on providing eduction, housing, and care to the countless orphans of Haiti.

While we are in Haiti, we will also teach the orphans and serve in the local churches.

goat project

The Haitian Goat Project is run by the New World Mission. New World Mission is a Haitian-based NGO led by Carlo Thomas, a native Haitian. This project is an economic development project which funds primary and secondary education and provides seed money for advanced education. Donors can help a child for as little as $40, buying one goat and paving the way for a child's education for years to come. For more infomation, download the brochure by clicking on the picture.

When we were introduced to the Goat Project, we learned that the Haitians are currently not utilizing the goat milk. It is discarded daily. We were asked to create a video and develop a training module that can be used to teach Haitians the value of utilizing the goat's milk to supplement their nutrition.

donations

The funds raised for this project will go to build an orphanage, assist the goat project, and fund the Haiti In Our Hearts missions trip.

If you would like to designate the entirety of your gift to any of these projects, please specify this in the "special instructions" field when you donate. Vineyard Metrowest Christian Fellowship is a 501c3 organization and all donations are tax-deductible.

Thank you for your generosity!
